How Do You Say "Holy Shit" in Chinese?

So, it seems as though the Chinese have announced to the public their knowledge of the existance of extraterrestrials and UFOs. This information comes from a recent press conference in which Wang Sachio of the Purple Mountain Astronomical Observatory let the world in on a little secret. According to MUFON, he announced the following:

  • Aliens are visiting Earth on R & D expeditions
  • These UFOs are probes manned by robots.
  • These craft travel at eighty percent the speed of light.
  • These craft have been seen by the observatory many times at between 150 and 1500 kilometers above Earth.
  • The aliens might use Nuclear fusion to propel their craft
  • 39 years of work at Purple Mountain Observatory has led Wang to believe these craft use Earth's gravity to manouvre and stay aloft

Let's hope this doesn't turn into the Mysterians.
Now, this is some hefty stuff to deal out to the world. It got me thinking about the people dishing out these facts. A search for the name "Wang Sachio" proved inconclusive wielding no results. A second search on "Purple Mountain Astronomical Observatory"told me that they've nabbed some attention in various nerd fields for discovering some meteorlogical roadside attractions like an asteroid called "Comet 1977 X". This wasn't what I was looking for, though. What I was looking for was any indication that they may be linked with the Chinese government. I feel like that fact would make or break these statements of theirs. If they aren't associated with the government then who's to say how they could know these things? Robots piloting spacecrafts on research and development missions? You can't come to that conclusion just by watching them zip around your telescope without at least a little bit of guesswork involved. However if they are, in fact, linked to the government, then these statements of theirs gain much more weight. Concrete shoes, in fact. The fact that the Chinese government would clear these statements to be released would be very interesting, indeed.

Unfortunately, as I said, I couldn't find any indication of a connection to the government. Info on the observatory is scarce and their website is in chinese. If you'd like to take a crack at translating the website, the address is http://www.pmo.ac.cn/. It would be appreciated if you could shuffle any info over to me since my chinese is a little, erm, rusty.

On the bright side, for a distinguished observatory to come out and publicly announce their conclusive evidence collected on UFOs is really great. This is a big step.

Oh, and "holy shit" in chinese is "wǒ kào". Thanks Wikipedia!

From Russia with Laser Love

I just came across the video of what looks like...well, a giant circle in the sky....spotted in Russia late last year. I don't remember hearing about this, but i guess it's better late than never.

Above is video of this strange happening. What is it? I have no idea. And neither do the majority of weather analysts, paranormal investigators, or anyone else who'd be in the know-how. What do I think it is? I was wondering when you were gonna ask me that!

I think it's linked to something that happened later in December of that year, also in the Russian skies. I'm obviously talking about the "Russian Spiral". A long blue trail of light that ended in an enormous white spinning wheel. It sounds almost biblical (and therefor ludicrous), but I assure you it's real. Don't believe me? Well, maybe you'll believe this video:

Certainly not computer generated, this image was seen, filmed, and photographed all over Northern Norway when it occured. Some speculation regarded it as some sort of star but this was, without a doubt, inside our atmosphere. There was also speculation that it was a product of Northern Lights but wrong again. The Northern Lights weren't visible that night. And then there's those who speculate it to be the trail of a missile. Now, it wasn't just anyone speculating this, it was the Russian government it's self.

Their official claim was that this was a failed test missile that was faulty and, after it failed to do whatever they were trying to make it do, it left this trail in the sky. Do I believe this? Absolutely not. I'm no rocket scientist or missile expert, but I've never seen a rocket leave a blue spiral trail like that behind. And never have I seen the trail end in a giant white spiraling vortex. Let alone one that could transform and reshape it's self like that.

My theory? I don't really have one, but I do think it's some how connected to HAARP.

HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is known to have the technology to change the weather anywhere in the world. From moving clouds to shaking the earth, this thing can do it all. In fact, when the earthquake in Haiti happened earlier this year or the tsunami in Indonesia, many pointed an accusing finger at HAARP saying they had something (if not everything) to do with it. HAARP is a series of 130 antennas in Alaska that, when turned on and tuned in together, can effect the ocean, the earth, the sky, and our brain waves. Some say HAARP can only work in the area of North America but others believe it can target anywhere in the world.
Lights over HAARP.

Whenever HAARP is turned on, the sky erupts in lights. Much like the Aurora Borealis, it's electromagnetic currents flooding the ionosphere. Photos of this light show were taken in Indonesia the night before the tsunami took place.

Could these spirals have been generated by HAARP in the skies of Russia? For what purpose? Is this some sort of test for something much, much bigger? Whatever it may be, it sure is a scary thought.
