The Silencers

So, I've always has a love/hate relationship with the series UFO Hunters. They've covered some pretty cool stuff that doesn't get a lot of coverage on your average UFO documentaries that pop up on the History Channel or any other channel thats buried in the triple-digit depths of my parents' cable plan.

I can't quite put my finger on what bugs me about this show. Maybe it's the older guy with the glasses and how that dude will truly believe ANYTHING he's told. I mean, I'm all for having an open mind and giving all facts the benefit of the doubt before regarding it as false, but he takes it a little too far for my liking.

Or maybe it's the guy with the really bad hair...actually, he's ok. He just has really bad hair.

The third guy I like. He keeps a steady head on his shoulders without bending to the whim of anyone with a story. He can smell bullshit and does so pretty often. If it weren't for him, I could see this series getting way off-track way too fast.

But when did this blog become about my opinions on television? I feel like I should mention my views on the Lost finale or why Roger Sterling on Mad Men should have a spinoff. Jesus, first post and already I'm getting sidetracked.

Ok, so the point of this post is to show you guys an episode I actually really enjoyed. Featured below is their glimpse into the mysteries of the "Men in Black". The subject of the Men in Black is one of deep mystery. Not much at all is known about them other than small fragments that seem to root from other one-off stories about UFO experiences. These usually make the Men in Black more of a footnote. I've always been really fascinated by them. The idea of government officials who are either supernatural in origin or act purposefully bizarre to make future accounts of them seem unplausable and ridiculous. Solid facts are few and far between about these guys and research is almost always a lost cause (usually cause the internet just spits out images of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones ruining their careers).

Here's the episode entitled "The Silencers" in 5 parts. If these videos aren't responding then you've gotten here too late and they've been yanked from YouTube. Sorry pal. Ya snooze, ya lose.
